   Last summer while visiting Pilsen, our heavily accented tour guide mentioned that it was a Czech who coined the term “Rowboat.” My first thought was, well, that’s rather odd trivia. About 10 minutes later she brought it up again and mentioned the author (Capek) and i realized she was saying “Robot.”
